2016 Annual meeting a well attended event!

37 residents of our neighborhood gathered on Saturday, January 23rd to review our community issues and activities.  The 11th annual meeting of our association was held at the Anacortes Public Library, and included discussions of the Shannon Point rip-rap removal project, and the Guemes Channel trail project - two important projects that stand to directly impact our neighborhood.

Regular board business included approval of the 2016 budget, and election of new members of the Board of Directors.  Tisa Kniskern and Amy Schnabel were elected to replace outgoing Board members Paul Allen and Barbara Ballentine.  The new members join Vickie Cooley, Jackie Etsell, Alan Hanson, and Jean Warner to round out the Board.

The Board of Directors are all volunteers, and have a huge role in maintaining our common grounds and making sure our community standards are maintained and our interests are protected.

Although the January meeting is the major homeowners meeting, the Board also meets on a near monthly basis. Those meetings are also held at the library, and residents are strongly encouraged to attend.  Check this ste for dates and times of upcoming meetings. (There's a list on the front page, left column.)
